The depth of the squad is already starting to produce concrete results. Filippo Inzaghi's Palermo is taking advantage of the quality of the alternatives and in the last two matches played at the Barbera they have found four goals thanks to players who joined during the match. A fact highlighted by Paolo Vannini on Corriere dello Sport, who photographs one of the most significant changes compared to last season. Three goals from the substitutes came in the Italian Cup match against Mantova: Pohjanpalo, scorer of a brace, and Johnsen started from the bench. On Monday against Sampdoria, however, it was Antonio Palumbo, who came on at half-time in place of Hernani, to seal the 3-1.
