News: Furthermore, Rome can count on the Olimpico, a facility already compliant with the main UEFA parameters and the recipient of further public investments of around 160 million euros. According to Filippo Conticello in the Gazzetta dello Sport, the operation involves very important resources: around 60 million euros from the Region, 70 million from the Municipality and around 200 million from the City Football Group. In total we are therefore talking about a project in the order of 330 million euros. The reference project is the redevelopment of the Maradona, supported by the Municipality through a public investment indicated at approximately 210 million euros. Transport, hotel facilities, fan zones, training fields and logistical services will have a decisive role, especially considering an event capable of attracting millions of fans.
