GdS – “Marble Palermo in Carrara: now Monza is ‘only’ at +3”
News: “What was needed to show up with the right dress at next Saturday’s gala.” Thus writes Luigi Butera, who on the pages of the Giornale di Sicilia comments on Palermo’s victory against Carrarese. A success as heavy as… marble, because it allows Inzaghi to move to -3 from second place and, therefore, from Monza who will be next week’s opponent, in a match that could be worth the season. Palermo returned to winning away games, also thanks to a bit of luck, after more than a month; debunked synthetic turf syndrome; won the second match in a row, after the one against Mantua, in the space of a few days. The Rosanero played a game of great sacrifice and humility, something they were unable to do in Pescara for example.
