News: Palermo replicates the home winning streak of two years ago, but this time adds the unbeaten home record as a trademark, sending a strong signal to the competition. The goal defended by Joronen has been clean since the 0-3 against Monza at the end of October: after Azzi’s goal in the last action, no opponent has managed to score again. The numbers certify defensive excellence: Palermo is the best rearguard in Serie B with 14 goals conceded. In eleven home games only three teams managed to score: Reggiana and Modena once each, Monza three. There was some inattention, but Joronen, the defenders and even a bit of luck – like the post hit by Artistico in the 92nd minute – made the difference.
