News: The decision came with the remodulation of the development and cohesion funds approved by the regional council led by Renato Schifani. Over half of the investment will in fact be guaranteed directly by Palermo and the City Football Group, while the remaining part will come from the Region, Municipality and State. At the same time, the Region has allocated another 40 million euros to Sicilian sports facilities through a public tender dedicated to interventions on the facilities on the island. In recent weeks, the need to quickly complete the economic coverage to meet the deadlines set by the authorization process had emerged. The allocation approved by the Region now represents a fundamental turning point towards the construction of the new rosanero stadium.
