News: This is the vision that accompanies the Renzo Barbera redevelopment project, illustrated by the Giornale di Sicilia in the in-depth analysis written by Massimiliano Radicini. As Massimiliano Radicini explains in the Giornale di Sicilia, the new Barbera will be born from the collaboration with Populous, one of the most important international studios in the world in the design of sports infrastructures. Il Giornale di Sicilia explains that the new stadium will be completely covered, with stands closer to the pitch – especially in the corners – and without visual barriers, so as to increase public involvement. The project illustrated by Massimiliano Radicini for the Giornale di Sicilia also includes skyboxes, premium hospitality, food & beverage areas distributed across all sectors and exclusive spaces dedicated to supporters. As the Giornale di Sicilia further underlines, the project includes photovoltaic systems, rainwater recovery systems, high energy efficiency technologies and tree-lined car parks with draining paving.
