News: As Alessandro Arena explains in the Giornale di Sicilia, the match between Venice and Palermo is a real crossroads of stories, with various rosanero protagonists linked to the orange-green past. According to Alessandro Arena of the Giornale di Sicilia, in addition to the Finnish striker, there will be five former players on the pitch or on the bench: Joronen, Ceccaroni, Segre, Johnsen and Filippo Inzaghi himself, who gave impetus to his coaching career in Venice. Ceccaroni's past is also important, as he – as Alessandro Arena underlines in the Giornale di Sicilia – wore the Venezia shirt 131 times, becoming captain in the season of his return to Serie A, before arriving at Palermo. As the Giornale di Sicilia recalls, the Norwegian has already impressed Palermo in the past, scoring in the 3-2 in 2023 with a lob from a considerable distance. Because, as Alessandro Arena highlights in the Giornale di Sicilia, Venice-Palermo is not just an end-of-season match, but a crossroads of stories, memories and paths that find themselves once again on the same field.
