News: As Alessandro Arena explains in the Giornale di Sicilia, the duel between Filippo Inzaghi and Alberto Aquilani represents one of the most fascinating themes of the Serie B playoff semi-final. In the focus written by Alessandro Arena for the Giornale di Sicilia, the long footballing relationship that has linked the two coaches over the years emerges. According to what Alessandro Arena told in the columns of the Giornale di Sicilia, the first meeting between Inzaghi and Aquilani as teammates dates back to August 2007 with the Italian national team shirt. Inzaghi was in the last year of his long AC Milan adventure, while Aquilani had just arrived from Liverpool to strengthen the AC Milan midfield. As the Giornale di Sicilia underlines, their paths crossed again in 2024 in Pisa, this time however without sharing the same locker room. Alessandro Arena highlights in his analysis for the Giornale di Sicilia how this semi-final represents much more than a simple technical challenge: for both teams and for the two coaches there is a goal up for grabs that could change the future.
