Giornale di Sicilia: “Palermo also starts again from the module”
News: Palermo also restarts from the module. According to the Giornale di Sicilia, the 4-2-3-1 seen at the "Barbera" could represent a concrete basis on which Filippo Inzaghi will build the Palermo of 2026/27. In fact, the Giornale di Sicilia underlines how the numerical inferiority in the midfield risks turning into a problem against teams with a particularly dense midfield. The Rosanero coach had already thought about adopting it permanently in the previous months, but Johnsen's injury – considered fundamental for the new structure – had slowed down the project. Il Giornale di Sicilia concludes by explaining that the signals that emerged against Catanzaro could also influence the next transfer strategies, with Palermo potentially including players more suited to the new playing system in the squad.
