News: The chaos that broke out in the authority stand of the “Renzo Barbera” during Palermo-Catanzaro is still relevant. Il Giornale di Sicilia, through an article signed by Massimiliano Radicini, reconstructs what happened during the playoff semi-final, with the case continuing to cause discussion even hours after the final whistle. According to the Giornale di Sicilia, Palermo officially intervened through a statement in which they expressed "extreme disappointment" for some statements released after the match by the Calabrian club, con ing a reconstruction that "completely mystifies the reality of what happened in the authorities' stand". Il Giornale di Sicilia adds that the situation would have degenerated after a gesture considered provocative by the young man, with the subsequent intervention of stewards, security men and Digos to restore calm. Finally, the Giornale di Sicilia also recalls the decisions of the sports judge: a two-match disqualification for Palumbo, a one-match suspension for Pierozzi and a 20,000 euro fine for Palermo for throwing bottles and a firecracker on the pitch.
