Giornale di Sicilia: “Palermo, Gomes gone: from untouchable starter…
News: As Salvatore Orifici says in the Giornale di Sicilia, Claudio Gomes' moment has become a coincidence at Palermo, increasingly on the margins in Inzaghi's choices. Salvatore Orifici, in the columns of the Giornale di Sicilia, highlights how the French midfielder has practically disappeared from the rotations, with numbers that certify a clear downsizing. Even higher numbers in the 2023/24 season, when he played almost 78 minutes per match, proving effectively irreplaceable. The reasons for this decline, as Salvatore Orifici underlines in the Giornale di Sicilia, are also to be found in the technical choices: the Segre-Ranocchia pair guaranteed balance and performance, making it difficult to find space. As Salvatore Orifici reiterates in the Giornale di Sicilia, there is still room for Gomes to carve out a role for himself in the championship finale and try to become a protagonist again.
