News: For Palermo, in the semi-final return match against Catanzaro, not only is qualification for the Serie B playoff final at stake, but also pride. In his editorial in the Giornale di Sicilia, Luigi Butera analyzes Palermo's collapse against Catanzaro in the Serie B playoff semi-final first leg, speaking openly of betrayal towards the fans. For Luigi Butera, in his editorial in the Giornale di Sicilia, the problem was not only technical or tactical, but above all mental: «Palermo sank miserably, ending up in a full state of confusion. The journalist from the Giornale di Sicilia also underlines how Filippo Inzaghi's declarations the day before turned into a boomerang after the performance of "Ceravolo".
