News: Not just a structural redevelopment of Barbera, but a true urban revolution that the Giornale di Sicilia defines as a connection between city, nature and modern infrastructure. The objective will be to make Barbera more compact, modern and close to the standards required by Euro 2032. The idea is to integrate the new Barbera with the urban fabric and the natural context of the Favorita and Monte Pellegrino. The role of "Casa Palermo", the new building that will rise in place of the former "Pallone", is also fundamental. Il Giornale di Sicilia underlines how the new Barbera represents a fundamental hub not only for Palermo and the candidacy for Euro 2032, but also for the entire urban transformation of the northern area of the city.
