Giornale di Sicilia: “Pierozzi and Augello make Palermo fly”
News: PALERMO – Palermo is back to flying on the flanks. As Salvatore Orifici highlights in the Giornale di Sicilia, the double challenge marked the definitive rekindling of the Augello-Pierozzi duo, which once again became decisive in the offensive maneuver. Palermo was built to do badly by exploiting the quality and drive of its wingers, the cornerstones of the starting eleven. As Salvatore Orifici points out again in the Giornale di Sicilia, Inzaghi’s unconditional trust allowed the two wingers to grow week after week, until they became decisive. The result is clear: Palermo has found drive, quality and goals on the flanks.
