Giornale di Sicilia: "The latest triumph dispels the big taboo….
News: The victory against Catanzaro is worth much more than three points. As Salvatore Orifici highlights in the Giornale di Sicilia, the success achieved by the rosanero represents the end of a taboo that had accompanied the team throughout the season: the one against the big league teams. The victory against Catanzaro, fifth strength in the championship, however, changes the scenario and restores confidence in view of the play-offs. However, the memory of the difficulties against direct competitors remains, among which the two heavy 3-0 defeats against Monza and the draws against Venezia and Frosinone stand out. Now the last match against Venezia remains to close the regular season, but Palermo can look to the play-offs with greater awareness: the taboo has fallen, and Serie A becomes a concrete objective again.
