News: Lega Serie B celebrates the charm of football that unites past and present with a post published on its social channels. The protagonists of the shot are Filippo Inzaghi and Ashley Cole, who last Saturday faced each other as opposing coaches in the Serie B match won by Palermo against Cesena. The shared image compares two distant moments in time: on the one hand the recent shot on the bench, on the other an archive photograph that portrays the two when they were still footballers, engaged in a match between the Italian and English national teams. An evocative parallel that recounts the evolution of their careers, moving from the field to technical leadership, and which underlines once again how football knows how to weave different stories and generations into a single story.
