Italy, Baldini: "For the friendly matches in June I will only call…
News: Silvio Baldini talks about the friendlies he will face as coach of the senior national team: the coach spoke in Tivoli on the occasion of the event for the Maurizio Maestrelli Award. “Being the Under 21 coach and with Mr. Gattuso having resigned, for the two friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece I will only call up Under 21 players. It is an act with logic, not with courage,” says Baldini, words reported by tuttomercatoweb. it. “The coach who comes after June 22nd must know the level of these guys – he continues -. It is useless to bring together many people, including the players who have not achieved qualification for the World Cup, since they will not have the motivation and will want to unplug."
