Italy disaster, Abodi harsh: «We need to re-establish Italian…
News: In an official note, Abodi underlined how football, despite being a sport, represents much more in Italy: a cultural and social phenomenon. However, the central point of his speech is clear: profound change is needed. "It is clear to everyone that Italian football must be refounded," he declared, indicating a renewal at the top of the FIGC as the first step. Abodi also rejected the accusations leveled at the institutions, reiterating the Government's support for Italian sport and inviting them to take responsibility. The message is therefore direct: to restart, the football system must change direction and start a new phase, with the aim of bringing Italy back to the levels it deserves on the international scene.
