Palermo's Norwegian striker commented on this brisk start in an interview given to the Giornale di Sicilia, touching on various topics: from the work done in the summer to the technical and human bond with his teammate Pohjanpalo, up to the seasonal prospects of the Sicilian team. When asked about the reasons for this positive start, Johnsen first of all wanted to underline the value of the collective work carried out during the summer retreat, even before his own individual merits. "I have done a good preparation and I am very happy especially for the team," the Scandinavian footballer declared to the Sicilian newspaper. On a personal front, the player's declared objective is to rediscover the regularity of scoring that had been lacking in the previous season, thanks to a year judged by the attacker himself to be more complex.
