Kinèa enters into co-production of “La Realtà è worse”: a docu-film on Palermo Calcio Popolare. The film tells the story of the birth of Palermo Calcio Popolare, founded in 2016 by a group of fans who no longer recognized themselves in contemporary football, increasingly distant from people and increasingly subjected to economic and power logics. A reality that openly claims its dissent through a clear message, printed on the shirts: Against Modern Football. “Reality is worse” tells precisely about this tension: the struggle to remain faithful to a utopia without distorting it, the attempt to resist a system that pushes one to become what one rejects. For Kinèa, this project represents the beginning of a new trajectory, founded on the choice to produce stories that are necessary, uncomfortable and deeply rooted in reality.
