La Nazione: “Empoli, Shpendi in the sights of Palermo and Frosinone”
News: Palermo is looking to the future and would have targeted Stiven Shpendi, the Empoli striker returning from a brilliant season in Serie B. According to what was reported by La Nazione, the Rosanero club would be among the clubs interested in the Albanian center forward, scorer of fifteen goals in the last cadet championship. The performances offered by Shpendi did not go unnoticed and would have pushed Empoli's sporting director, Stefanelli, to evaluate a possible capital gain during the next transfer session. Again according to La Nazione, the newly promoted Frosinone would also be interested in the player, ready to strengthen their offensive department in view of their return to Serie A. Palermo, on the other hand, continues to plan for next season with the aim of playing a leading role in the race for promotion. The situation is still evolving and further details on the negotiation and the future of the Albanian striker could emerge in the coming weeks.
