News: Lecce is working to recover two important players ahead of the Italian Cup match against Palermo. These are Omri Gandelman and Medon Berisha, both struggling with their return after physical problems suffered last season. Berisha has just returned from a long stop which forced him to miss around two thirds of the last Serie A championship, while Gandelman, despite managing to make his contribution in the final part of the season, had to live with various physical problems. The objective of both is to accelerate recovery and be ready for the official debut of the season, which will see Lecce face Palermo in the Italian Cup. Di Francesco hopes to be able to count on two important reinforcements in the middle of the pitch for a match that will represent the first of the new season.
