News: The Lega Serie B expressed "strong disappointment and regret" for the episodes of tension that occurred in the official stands during the playoff semi-final between Palermo and Catanzaro, underlining how what happened tarnished an evening which, due to its atmosphere and entertainment, would have deserved a much different memory. The president of Lega B, Paolo Bedin, intervened and condemned what happened at the "Barbera": "Matches like the one in Palermo represent the best of our football in terms of participation, emotions and competitive quality. Precisely for this reason it is regrettable that episodes of intolerance and tension can overshadow the extraordinary things expressed on the pitch by both teams and their respective fans." Responsible and respectful attitudes are needed, even more so due to the great visibility that events of this type give to our sport."
