Lorenzo Insigne goes to Sampdoria: an annual contract with an option…
News: Sampdoria coup: Lorenzo Insigne is expected tomorrow, Wednesday 8 July, in Genoa to sign with the Sampdoria club. An annual contract is ready, with a clause that provides for a renewal option for a further season: it would be automatically triggered upon reaching 50% of the total seasonal attendance. Insigne thus returns to play in Serie B after his experience at Pescara in the second part of last season, which ended with 5 goals and 3 assists in 13 appearances. Numbers not enough to avoid the relegation of the Abruzzo club, but which confirm how the talent of the former Napoli player has remained intact even in a category different from the one he was used to. The medical examinations and the signing of the contract remain to be carried out, the last formal steps before the official announcement that will open the new era for Sampdoria under Insigne.
