Magione, the redevelopment of the pitch begins: new life thanks to…
News: The 5-a-side football pitch in Piazza Magione is preparing to come back to life. The Municipality of Palermo has authorized the start of redevelopment works on the stadium as part of the “Palermo in the Community” project, an initiative carried out together with the City Football Group, majority owner of Palermo FC. What the project involves The works will concern the extraordinary maintenance of the field, which is currently in a clear state of degradation. Free space for young people The project requires the pitch to be free and accessible, with particular attention to children and young people in the neighbourhood. Sustainable materials will also be used and green elements will be inserted to improve the quality of the urban space.
