Palermo expelled the Martelli by defeating 2-0 Mantua and conquered the sixth victory in the first seven days of Serie B. On the pagelles signed by Luigi Butera on the , the best in the field among the rosanero is Jacopo Segre, awarded with a 7 for the goal that unlocks the game and for the usual work in midfield. There are, however, some insufficiencies after a first complicated time for the formation of Filippo Inzaghi. As Luigi Butera points out on the , Segre finally finds the first seasonal goal, making himself ready on Bardi's rejection. Perin's performance was also positive, assessed 6.5, especially for the great parade on Kouda, decisive to maintain the unbroken door. Same vote for Cassandro, protagonist of a careful trial and action leading to doubling, and for Palumbo, whose reparation and conclusion favor the rosanero advantage.
