News: RETIRED 2026 – Anglo-Palermitan Trophy: Palermo – Melbourne City 2-0, Le Douaron and Peda on target Palermo's tour of Australia is off to a good start. The friendly match with their cousins Melbourne City, valid for the Anglo-Palermitan Trophy, was in fact won by the Rosanero team 2-0 thanks to goals from Le Douaron in the first half and Peda in the second half. In the second half Palermo definitively took control of the match, keeping control of the game for most of the second half. From the free kick taken at the near post, Niccolò Pierozzi extended his header for Le Douaron, who acted as a buffer in the heart of the small area favoring the insertion of Patryk Peda, who did well to deposit the ball into the net with the goal practically wide open. Palermo took to the field wearing the new Zagara Kit, offering further signs of growth both in terms of play and collective understanding.
