Mourning for the former Benussi rose: his wife died in a road accident
News: A terrible misfortune has struck former Palermo goalkeeper Francesco Benussi. His wife Laura Carosella did not survive a road accident which occurred on Thursday at 3pm, losing her life on Friday 10 April. The firefighters who intervened to make the stretch safe had removed what remained of the devastated cars but for three hours the stretch remained closed to traffic. “I will carry their life on my shoulders” Benussi, Palermo goalkeeper from 2010 to 2013 with 13 appearances under his belt, works with Hellas Verona's Under 20 team. “Now I will take their life on my shoulders – said the former Palermo player, shocked – we have to move forward”.
