New Barbera, tension in the Council: clash between Forello and…
News: Moments of strong tension during the City Council session dedicated to the agreement for the Nuovo Barbera. The president of the Chamber Giulio Tantillo was forced to suspend the proceedings again after a heated face-to-face meeting between the group leader of the Brothers of Italy, Giuseppe Milazzo, and the councilor of Oso-Controcorrente, Ugo Forello. During the discussion, harsh words flew, with the climate quickly overheating to the point of making it necessary to stop the session again. The clash was triggered by the decision announced by Milazzo not to support the amendments deemed not strictly technical. La discussione sull’emendamento ha acceso il dibattito politico in Aula, costringendo il presidente Tantillo a sospendere temporaneamente i lavori per riportare la calma tra i consiglieri.
