New stadium in Palermo, the City plan: museum, greenery and…
News: This is the vision that emerges from the Feasibility Document of the design alternatives presented by the City Football Group and told by Giancarlo Macaluso in the Giornale di Sicilia, which reconstructs in detail the path towards the new Palermo stadium. According to what Giancarlo Macaluso of the Giornale di Sicilia reports, the works created for the Italy ’90 World Cup could be partly demolished and rebuilt. The most ambitious dream remains the construction of a totally new stadium in the racecourse area. On 23 December the club officially presented the feasibility document and asked the mayor Roberto Lagalla to convene a preliminary services conference, held on 22 January. If the hypothesis of the new stadium remains in the background, the heart of the project remains the transformation of the Barbera into a lively place all year round.
