New Stadium: the city council anticipates the examination of the…
News: The Palermo City Council will start examining the proposed agreement for the redevelopment of the Renzo Barbera stadium tomorrow, bringing forward the initially planned timetable by one day. The decision comes despite the communication from Palermo Calcio, which in recent hours announced its intention not to continue with the redevelopment project of the stadium. The opening of the debate will allow the councilors to analyze the text of the convention and present any amendments before the final vote. The objective is to respect the deadline of 31 July, the deadline by which the administrative process linked to Palermo's candidacy as host of the 2032 European Football Championships must be completed. The definitive text of the agreement was sent to the City Council yesterday evening, thus opening the last phase of the administrative process.
