News: The city councilors of Generazione Azzurra Palermo, Domenico Bonanno and Viviana Raja, expressed satisfaction with the approval of the resolution on the Nuovo Barbera, reiterating their support for the stadium redevelopment project. «We have convincingly supported this path because we believe that the new stadium represents much more than a sports infrastructure: it is a strategic investment capable of generating economic development, employment, tourist attractiveness, urban redevelopment and new opportunities for the territory». Finally, Bonanno and Raja expressed their hope to Palermo FC for the completion of the process. The redevelopment of the Renzo Barbera represents a precious opportunity for young people and a goal that is much closer today. We now hope that Palermo FC will share the efforts made by this Council and sign the agreement to officially begin this desired, fundamental and long-awaited change."
