Palermo, a comeback victory against Empoli: the last in 2023 with…
News: Palermo, after two years, returns to win with a comeback. An emotion that Palermo and its fans have not experienced since the 2023/24 season, when Eugenio Corini sat on the Sicilian bench. Palermo found the equalizer in the 20th minute with Romanian defender Nedelcearu, but Cremonese regained the lead in the 32nd minute thanks to Castagnetti. That was the last time Palermo managed to win a match after going behind, but not the only comeback of that season. In the 2024/25 season Palermo found themselves at a disadvantage 19 times.
