Palermo finds Mattia Bani, but Philip Inzaghi assesses an alternative defence solution for the Sunday challenge against Carrarese. As Paolo Vannini says on the , the captain Rosanero was operated yesterday afternoon in Florence for the reduction of the fracture to the second metacarp of the right hand, remedied during a game fight in the transfer of Mantua. According to Vannini on the , Bani will return to the site today and will be able to resume training wearing a protective brace. There are therefore the margins to recover it already for Sunday, but the closeness of the big match against Pisa, scheduled on Wednesday 28 October in the week-end, could prompt Inzaghi to manage with caution his employment. In this scenario, Patryk Peda's candidacy is listed.
