News: Palermo rallied around the memory of Giovanni Ferrara. Today, Friday 27 March, the funeral of the former Rosanero president, who passed away at the age of 75, was held in the church of Sant'Espedito, which was packed for the occasion. Among those present were the president of Palermo Dario Mirri, together with representatives of the management of the Ferrara era such as Gianfranco Vizzini, Giuseppe Conti and Liborio Polizzi, with whom he alternated at the helm of the club. Among the church pews also Angelo Ponticelli, former rosanero goalkeeper, and Lorenzo Barbera, son of Ferruccio, who collaborated with Ferrara in the 1980s. A Palermo scarf was placed on the coffin, while outside the church the ultras displayed a banner in his honor.
