Palermo – Catanzaro, the probable lineups: chances for Johnsen and…
News: Here are the probable lineups for Palermo – Catanzaro, match valid for the semi-final second leg of the 2025/26 Serie B playoffs (appointment Wednesday 20 May, at 8pm, “Renzo Barbera” stadium in Palermo): PALERMO (3-4-2-1): Joronen; Pierozzi, Bani, Ceccaroni; Rui Modesto (Peda), Segre, Ranocchia, Augello; Palumbo, Johnsen; Pohjanpalo. Unavailable: Le DouaronDisqualified: /CATANZARO (3-4-2-1): Pigliacelli; Brighenti, Antonini, Cassandro; Favasuli, Pontisso, Petriccione, Alesi; Liberali, Iemmello; Pittarello. The main news could be the return of Bani from the first minute: the captain is too important for Palermo and will take back his place as central defender in the three-man defence. The other change compared to the first leg concerns the attack: Johnsen should start in the attacking midfield in place of Le Douaron, playing next to Palumbo behind Pohjanpalo. The starting game system would remain 3-4-2-1, but with the same men on the pitch Inzaghi could switch to 4-2-3-1 depending on the progress of the match.
