Palermo, consensual resolution for Blin: the Frenchman

Palermo has mutually terminated the contract with Alexis Blin. The Rosanero club was unable to find the right solution for the Frenchman during the transfer market and found itself forced to end the relationship with the player, who will now look for a team from the free agent market. Alexis Blin arrived at Palermo in the summer of 2024, purchased outright from Lecce, with whom he had made 92 league appearances between Serie B and Serie A. The French midfielder, born in 1996, should have brought experience, physicality and flexibility to the rosanero. However, his first year in Sicily was affected by a serious muscle injury that kept him away from the pitch for several months. In the following season Blin was unable to find continuity, closing the 2025/26 championship with 22 appearances in Serie B and 704 minutes overall.
