Palermo dominates and wins, but 2-0 is not enough: Catanzaro goes to…
News: The victory was not enough for Palermo, who beat Catanzaro 2-0 at Barbera with goals from Pohjanpalo and Rui Modesto. The Calabrians will compete with Monza for the last place available for promotion to Serie A, with the playoff final to be played on May 24th at Ceravolo with the return scheduled for May 29th at the U-Power Stadium. The boys started off strong and immediately found the lead in the 3rd minute thanks to a header from the usual Pohjanpalo. Aquilani's Catanzaro thus wins the playoff final after strenuously defending the lead built in the first leg. The Giallorossi, fifth in the regular season, will now have the chance to fight for promotion against Monza.
