Palermo, Euro 2032 mission: meeting with UEFA in Nyon for Barbera….
News: Palermo's path towards the candidacy for the 2032 European Championships continues. This morning a delegation from the Municipality of Palermo and Palermo FC, together with the designers of Populous, were received at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon to present the progress of the redevelopment project of the Renzo Barbera stadium. At the center of the meeting, the guidelines of a profound structural intervention, designed to comply with over 200 requirements required to host international competitions. Finally, the focus on institutional collaboration: «I also want to reiterate the strong and fruitful collaboration between the Municipality and Palermo FC. We are talking about a fundamental asset for the city, for its sporting identity and for its many fans."
