Palermo, exit node: there is an eleven to sort out
News: If the incoming transfer market is starting to take shape, with three additions (Estevez, Cassandro and Hernani) completed before leaving for Santa Cristina in Val Gardena, the same cannot be said for the outgoing one: the extra large squad represents a problem for Palermo, now called upon to accelerate the transfers, especially of those players who will not take part in the meeting. The summer is still long and each negotiation has different times, but never more than this year will it be important to prune down every last redundancy so as to avoid new Verre cases (he remained in Sicily out of the squad after the transfer window closed and then terminated the contract in November 2025). To date, the only ones to have said goodbye to Palermo are the two whose contracts are expiring, namely Gomis and Bereszynski (who has recently signed a two-year contract with the Polish side Motor Lublin), and the three on loan on whom the redemption has not been exercised, namely Veroli, Giovane and Rui Modesto (who however remains on Osti's radar): to them, however, is added a whole eleven, between returns from loans and disappointments of the season just ended, which is not part of the new technical project and will have to find accommodation as soon as possible.
