Palermo, Feliciani returns. Here is the disputed referee from Reggio…
News: GdS – Palermo, Feliciani is back. The disputed referee from Reggio Emilia is back. Ermanno Feliciani from the Teramo section will be in charge of Catanzaro-Palermo, the first leg semi-final of the Serie B playoffs scheduled for Sunday evening at the 'Ceravolo'. A designation which – says Massimiliano Radicini in the Giornale di Sicilia – brings to mind the controversies following the last previous season between the rosanero and the Abruzzo match director. Feliciani refereed Reggiana-Palermo last April 25, a match that ended 1-1 and – as Radicini recalls in the Giornale della Sicilia – characterized by the sensational episode of the penalty not awarded to the Rosanero due to Bonetti's touch of Pierozzi's header. Il Giornale di Sicilia recalls how neither Feliciani nor VAR decided to intervene despite pro s from the Rosanero environment, an episode which left strong bitterness among fans and club.
