In August, between friendlies in Australia and the Italian Cup, he didn't play even a minute, but now everything is ready to see him manage the defense again: Bani is ready for his seasonal debut against Juve Stabia, with the aim of further improving a department that even without him showed more than decent things. The captain's absence against Melbourne City, Juventus and Lecce was dictated by purely precautionary reasons, linked to health reasons and minor physical problems: nothing to do with the scenario in May, when Bani's withdrawal from the play-offs was a bolt from the blue for Palermo. Now the former Genoa player is well, but precisely in light of what happened three months ago it was decided to choose the path of caution and wait for the more important matches to put him back on the field: Inzaghi himself, after the 2-0 against the Salento team on Monday, admitted that he would have given him space in the final if it hadn't been for the forced substitutions previously (Joronen injured, Pohjanpalo bruised, Palumbo at risk of a second yellow card); the failure of number 13 to enter did not have a negative impact on the result, thanks also to the excellent work of his teammates, but now there should be no more problems to see it operational starting from Sunday.
