Palermo, Inzaghi after Empoli: «The chase has started»
News: Even the 2-2 could have been a very hard blow, but instead a victory came with great spirit and great fight. Inzaghi doesn’t hide the difficulties of the match: «Today I was very afraid of this match because Empoli don’t have the ranking they deserve, we saw it. But the team played a great match, a difficult one, they reacted and today it is a victory that is worth more than the three points.” And he mentions several protagonists: «I think of Gyasi who replaced Palumbo, he scored goals; to Le Douaron who made two assists; to Vasic and Gomes who entered very well; to Blin who came on for four minutes and was pressuring everyone.” But the direction is clear: «Our run-up has started, we have shortened and we must try to maintain this ranking and get ever closer».
