Palermo wants to reduce poker and consolidate the primacy in the standings. The team of Filippo Inzaghi today faces the Carrarese at Renzo Barbera with the aim of winning the fourth consecutive victory, a goal that, according to Luigi Butera on , is missing to the rosanero from the 2013/14 season, when the training trained by Giuseppe Iachini conquered the promotion in Serie A at a record rate. After the successes of Mantua and Südtirol, which shortened the distances in the standings, Palermo is called to respond. As Luigi Butera points out on the columns of , Inzaghi does not want to hear about a simple match, despite the field factor and the support of the more than 30 thousand fans expected at Barbera. "If we assume it's easy, let's face a bad end. The Carrarese is in great shape and has a coach that in B makes the difference. It's the worst game for us, I'd rather meet other teams. To win you need the best Palermo, I also expect a help from our people". The focus is also on the safety of the stadium after the earthquake shocks recorded on Friday. According to Luigi Butera's report, yesterday's checks on the structure have resulted in a favourable outcome, allowing the regular performance of the match. For precaution, the presence of firefighters within the system will be strengthened. On the front of the training, Inzaghi must evaluate the conditions of Bani, operated in recent days for a fracture to a finger but still candidate to go into the field. Palumbo will not be available, stopped by a muscle problem accused during the celebrations for the goals of Hernani in Mantua. «He accused an overload of a calf in Mantua when he ran to embrace Hernani after the goal. There will not be, we hope to recover it for Pisa. We have a long and quality rose, we will never risk anyone", explained the technician. As Luigi Butera points out, Inzaghi demands continuity and concentration, aware that each game can affect the race to promotion. "What we have done so far does not matter, I do not want to see steps back. If we do not win this, the victory in Mantua counts zero. At the first false step everyone will jump on us, we must continue with humility and with the awareness of the strength we have. I hope my players get tired of the B and want to go to the stadiums that deserve our fans".
