News: Palermo, Joronen towards renewal: agreement in the final stages to secure the goalkeeperJesse Joronen is now towards a renewal with Palermo. The Finnish goalkeeper, born in 1993, is close to signing a new contract with the Rosanero after making 38 appearances last season, conceding 36 goals and boasting 17 clean sheets. Its renewal, according to what was gathered by TMW, is in the final stages and the contract currently in force until 30 June 2026 will therefore be extended, prolonging the marriage between the former Venezia and the Sicilian club which began in August 2025.
