News: Bad news for Palermo in the first minutes of the Italian Cup match against Lecce. Jesse Joronen was forced to leave the pitch due to a shoulder problem. The Rosanero goalkeeper immediately felt pain and, after evaluation by the medical staff, was unable to continue the match. Inzaghi was therefore forced to make a substitution, sending Mattia Fortin onto the pitch in place of the Finnish goalkeeper.
