The French midfielder found little space in the season under the guidance of Filippo Inzaghi, often remaining on the fringes of the rotations and unable to become a central element of the Rosanero midfield. Despite his technical qualities and international experience, Gomes has never managed to carve out continuity of employment, also thanks to the coach's tactical choices. The contract expiring on 30 June 2027 does not leave much room for a possible stay: according to sources close to TuttoPalermo. net, the player would now have his "suitcases packed".
