News: Mantova said no to the first offer for Trimboli. As Massimiliano Radicini explains in the Giornale di Sicilia, Palermo continues to work to complete the squad that Filippo Inzaghi will have at his disposal in the 2026/27 season. The first target remains Zito Luvumbo, even if the negotiations with Cagliari are at a standstill. Palermo, however, continues to monitor alternative options and keeps contacts open for Rao, owned by Napoli, and Mattia Compagnon of Venezia. As Massimiliano Radicini highlights again in the Giornale di Sicilia, the candidacy of Simone Trimboli of Mantova also remains alive in midfield. The first proposal presented by Palermo, however, was not considered sufficient by the Lombard club and the negotiation remains pending new developments.
