Among the names that ended up in sporting director Carlo Osti's notebook is that of Marius Mihai Marin (27), a Romanian midfielder fresh from his experience with Pisa and leaving the Tuscan club at the end of his contract expiring on June 30th. The Rosanero coach would have indicated the Romanian as one of the ideal elements to guarantee balance, intensity and quality in the crucial area of the pitch. In fact, Marin represents one of the most reliable and consistent midfielders of recent seasons. During his Italian career he has built an absolutely respectable CV, collecting almost 200 appearances in Serie B and also playing 23 matches in the last Serie A season with the Pisa shirt.
