Palermo market, Mazzitelli likes it. Slightly behind
Osti's attention on the Palermo market shifts to the midfield, where the name at the top of the wish list is that of Luca Mazzitelli from Como. For the director, however, there is intense competition to overcome which also sees Monza, Sampdoria and Verona slipping away, as reported by the Giornale di Sicilia. In the background, the options leading to Lovric and Thorsby would remain slightly more distant. However, the possible move for a new midfielder inevitably involves the sale of Emanuel Gyasi: the winger's farewell would in fact free up the Over box which is essential for allocating resources to the midfield addition. On the external lanes we also continue to monitor Almena's profile to complete the department, but the work of sporting director Osti in these hours is mainly concentrated on thinning out the squad.
